State of the art
The project of the new venue has been recently approved by the City Council of Bologna and the legal procedures are complete. A fund-raising campaign has been launched in Italy and in the U.S., where contacts are being established with Foundations and Institutions representing the Italo-American community.
Waiting for the project of the new venue to be fìnanced, the European Genetics Foundation has recently opened the
CUEM, Centro Universitario Euro Mediterraneo (Euro Mediterranean Univesity Centre), a venue of 600 smq at the Ronzano Hermitage. Since spring 2007 some of the ESGM Course have been held there.
The demolition of the shabby old stables (in the picture) will enable us to build the new centre on the plot of land received as a donation, since the local building regulations do not allow the construction of new facilities on the hillsides south to the city.
